Modern Slavery Statement
As detailed in the PhysioMedics Modern Slavery Policy, we are committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its business activities. The Policy details steps we have put in place with the aim of ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our own business and supply chains. We all have a duty to be alert to risks, however small. Staff are expected to report their concerns and management to act upon them.
In regards to the management of our supply chain, the company undertakes due diligence when considering taking on new suppliers, and regularly reviews its existing suppliers. The Company’s due diligence process includes building long-standing relationships with suppliers and making clear our expectations of business partners and evaluating the modern slavery and human trafficking risks of each new supplier. We have both a policy and training course for each employee who joins PhysioMedics.
In measuring compliance, the CEO will verify compliance to this policy through various methods, including but not limited to, periodic spot-checks, internal and external audits and
feedback to the policy owner.
If Modern Slavery is identified within the business or supply chain, then employees must report this to the Modern Slavery Helpline. If Modern Slavery is encountered while The Society are a client, or during procurement stage, then PhysioMedics will notify The Society immediately via their Account Management contact or the CEO.
